Synopsis

The word document consists of the outline and the main body of the report:
1. Enhancing image and public awareness
2. The proposed plan
3. The criteria test
4. Licensing and assurance program

It addresses the first 2 challenge questions of the student challenge – to create a model to evaluate proposals from third parties (under “The criteria test”) and to develop an assurance program in relation to the amount of royalties payable by third parties including necessary contractual agreements (under “Licensing and assurance program”)
Furthermore, other innovative practices are being discussed, including methods of enhancing Cancer Council’s image and increasing public awareness, and the proposal of the primary cancer council product badge and the secondary cancer council product badge.

The excel spreadsheet elaborates further on the criteria test that can be carried out to evaluate the proposals of potential partners. It focuses on the financial health assessment of companies and third party clients, consisting of 2 main sections: the broad-based approach and the individualised approach.

The power point presentation explains the expectations of Cancer Council Australia (CCA) in the arrangements with its clients. It details the possible partnerships companies can have with CCA and the benefits of such a collaboration.

Lastly, the youtube video is an example of how CCA can increase public awareness through mass media advertising.

  • You guys got my vote for Best Presentation and People's choice. Overall, everything was good, and the video presentation was especially interesting. The only criticism I have is the Assurance part of the report, I felt that was a bit short? Anyway, good work :)

  • By far the most creative presentation! I it has already been said, but it's very fantastic. Also, good idea about 'Collaborating with Government'. Very detailed example in the excel spreadsheet. However, not enough was said about product quality assurance in my opinion.
